- Likes to travel to South East Asia, especially Indonesia. Favourite places in Indonesia include Belitung Island, North Sumatra (Tangkahan, Bukit Lawang, Beristagi, Lake Toba), South Sulawesi, Pagar Alam, Sekonyer River.
- Downsized recently to a unit in Lyneham, Canberra.
- Plays golf at Yowani in Canberra, plus occasional golf trips to senior’s events in Sydney and Melbourne.
- Keeps up to date on climate change issues by attending lectures and events run by the ANU Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions team.
- Is reasonably healthy, so walks each day using the bike paths around Canberra.
