Your hard working committee is faced with a quandry: At present we have over 80 who are coming, we have 30 who have replied that they can't make it, and we have a whopping 57 at last count who haven't replied about the dinner but who had previously registered their details with us in the lead up to the event. So, in this last week let's go find out what's happened to them . Below is a list of names of the non-repliers. Next to each of them has been placed at random the name of an attendee. In the next couple of days, can the attendee phone (or otherwise contact) the person assigned to them and : (1) ask them whether they are coming and to return their form; and (2) report back by Friday 21 September what they have found out. If you cannot do this task straightaway (for whatever reason), just let me know and I will assign someone else... Apart from this, if anyone sees an old friend (or more than one) on the list whom you still know or whom you would really like to see at the dinner, feel free to contact them . This is especially for those who have not been assigned a name to chase up. See it as an excuse to make contact anyway...!
