The whole thing went very well, and the venue was ideal, perhaps bettered only by a private room, if there was one large enough , at Claude Fay's pub across the road. The presence of former teachers was a wonderful touch, especially YAK revealing his educational philosophy. I suspect if he had revealed that when we were students it would have frightened the crap out of us. I think we coped last night.
